Circuit of The Americas, Austin, Texas, has completed the second and final phase of its resurfacing project on its 20-turn, 3.41-mile permanent road course that plays host to Formula 1, NASCAR, MotoGP and more.

The project began with the opening phase prior to April’s MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas and was completed in advance of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s race in Austin in early September.

More than 18,076 tons of asphalt were used for the resurfacing, according to track officials.
